  1. Applicants for a residence permit must meet the following requirements: no criminal record, no violations in EU countries and no entry ban to them, provision of authentic documents and truthful information, financial solvency, ownership or rental of housing on Polish territory.

The list of documents includes a valid foreign passport, a 4.5 x 3.5 cm photo, a certificate of no criminal record, an insurance policy, an agreement on the purchase or rental of residential real estate, proof of the availability of funds for living and confirmation of the basis for the application.

  1. The process involves forming a dossier according to the requirements of Polish legislation, obtaining a D-category visa at the embassy or consulate, arriving in Poland by it, applying to the authorized state institution, receiving a resident card. The terms of the procedure are from 3 months.

  1. The applicant can add family members to the application and immigrate to the country with them after a positive request. Also, it is allowed to request a residence permit on the basis of family reunification if one of its members is already a resident or citizen of Poland.
